I thought Kramnik had chances in the second game, but once he lost a Pawn, the draw became inevitable.

Hi Dan….I also thought at one stage the game was his game! and Anand (my favourite of course) was again clever… 🙂

What a rout this has turned out to be !!! Out of the first 6 games, Anand has won 3 and drawn 3, to take a commanding 4.5-1.5 points lead. He now needs just 2 ponts from the remaining 6 matches to
    defeat Kramnik convincingly.
Kudos to Vishwanathan Anand for a superb display.

Hi Carlos! Welcome here and yes! I don’t think Kramnik has any chance! Anand was my favourite right from the start and still is! I think he’s brilliant. For Granmasters in this stage to catch up, I don’t know, Kramnik will have to be really good to win this one!

    Hi Nikita!
Me another uber GM from India 😉 (kidding… about being GM). Obviously I’m happy about Anand leading by such margins. But how come you not support Kramnik? That sexy 🙂 Rus nick of yours is borrowed or something? Anyway, kisses … 😉

  • Spoken by great men:"Give me 20 divisions of American soldiers and I will breach Europe. Give me 15 consisting of Englishmen and I will advance to the borders of Berlin. Give me two divisions of those marvellous fighting Boers and I will remove Germany from the face of the earth." - Field Marshal Bernard L. Montgomery, Commander of the Allied Forces during WW2.

  • "The Americans fight for a free world, the English mostly for honour, glory and medals, the French and Canadians decide too late that they have to participate. The Italians are too scared to fight, the Russians have no choice. The Germans for their Fatherland. The Boers? Those sons of Bitches fight for the hell of it." American General, George 'Guts and Glory' Patton.
