April22Earth

I think enough has been said about our planet and what we should do…I think it’s just a case of everybody should do their bit and make sure you do it well. On the links in this post you can find different activities and I’m posting one activity only… this one is taking place in the Cape Town region in South Africa.

One fruit and one indigenous tree will be distributed to 550 Worcester residents. 10 Community Based Educators residing in Worcester, will be present on Earthday to assist Food and Trees for Africa in handing over the 1100 trees to Worcester residents.

For more information on this event contact Joanne Rolt on 01 803 9750 or joanne @ trees. org. za

This week, Earth Day attempts to inspire the world’s inhabitants to think greener.
With the price of fuel rocketing and an increased awareness of our effect on the environment, car buyers are focusing on models that use less fuel and produce lower emissions. Consequently, the car makers are clamouring to produce the most efficient cars in their class. Here we pick five popular market segments and the car in each that is the most efficient when compared against its contemporaries. That doesn’t always mean going just by the numbers though.

Read HERE about five of the most efficient cars in their class.
