We’re moving house and I’ll not be online for a few days from Sunday afternoon…till VirginMedia has reconnected us again!
Moving house? Glad it’s not me.

We have the most wonderful neighbours you can think of…next door and opposite… and we will surely miss them! Nextdoor gave us a wonderful card with a bottle of Il Papavero wine. It is an Italian wine. This is the seventh bottle of wine in the past 6 months from various people…why not chocolates! lol! Luckily, it’s a red wine..again…I haven’t tried it as yet…I was on a website a few days ago where people could say what their neighbours are like and I read the most horrible comments…I’m so glad I don’t have to say such horrible things about ours.
Airplanes passing by…some people hate the noise, but they were not too noisy where we are and I quite like the sound as everything is not so dead quiet. I will miss the sound – I think. I like watching planes and even tried the otherday – unsuccessfully! – to take photos near Heathrow. You don’t have a chance to see them from a close distance, all areas are covered and you actually have to go into the airport. I loved the spot near Jan Smuts Airport…alias…Johannesburg International Airport..alias Oliver Tambo International Airport..alias…all the name changes!! ….where you could watch them from a close distance.
GlaxoSmithkline building on the Great West (A4) on your way to Boston Manor Park in Brentford
Be aware…in the park…BB is watching you!
hmmm…and I like cloud “spotting”..haha..
I promise to blog a lot more beautiful pictures of Boston Manor Park – about 1-2 miles from us…once we’re online again in the new house.
The newly arrived…”fresh from the oven”…today! This is Cindy…her owners couldn’t keep her anymore and wanted the vet to put her down! So, say hello to the new family member! She’s got beautiful blue eyes and she loves her food, but don’t come near her when she eats! This is where we have to discipline her …she’s very grumpy when she’s having her food… these pics were taken straight after her bath, she came with a stinky smokey smell. She’s only 3 months old and a cross Collie. We’re off to buy her some toys and it seems that she’s used to having her snacks outside on the lawn – which is great. She’s very friendly and playful and likes to be outside. Apparently, her previous owners didn’t treat her very nicely. On THIS LINK link you can see more pictures of her on her own blog – unfortunately, the writing is only in Afrikaans.
We’ve decided to rename Cindy to Zandie. She didn’t know the name Cindy and it seems that she’s responding more to her new name!
Exhausted of the day’s excitement and stress of a new home!
