I got this cd of Jim Brickman from an American chess player-friend about a year ago. I’ve rediscovered the music and want to share a few tracks (some tasters) with you. The music is beautiful, relaxing, soothing…. Enjoy!

Thousands of years ago the Celtic ancestors placed great value on spiritual friendships. The Gaelic word for this was…Anam Cara. The link will open in a new window.

Anam Cara Blessing

May the light of your soul guide you.
May the light of your soul bless the work you do with the secret love and warmth in your heart.
May you see in what you do the beauty of your own soul.
May the sacredness of your work bring healing, light, and renewal to those who work with you and to those who see and receive your work.
May your work never weary you.
May it release within you wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration, and excitement.
May you be present in what you do.
May you never become lost in the bland absences.
May the day never burden.
May dawn find you awake and alert, approaching your new day with dreams, possibilities, and promises.
May evening find you gracious and fulfilled.
May you go into the night blessed, sheltered, and protected.
May your soul calm, console, and renew you.

    Hi Nikita,
I’m a big time music freak…I don’t listen to much of English song though….but I loved this one. It’s soothing to the ears 😛

Hallo Nikita. Ek het nou net op my blog “in trane” verduidelik hoekom ek nou so min hier by die blogs is. Ek mis joune regtig baie. Jy moet groot asb. my afwesigheid vir ‘n rukkie verskoon, hoor.

Hierdie is vir my ‘n besonder mooi inskrywing.

hi norrbu! Thanks, to you too…do you celebrate it? Our next-door neighbours do and we saw some beautiful fireworks tonight…enjoy your week!

Hi Juffer!

Hi annerkant!

Ek moet Anam Cara (boek) vir my koop!
Jy weet mos hierdie is my gunsteling onderwerp! Die musiek, die blessings!

Dankie vir die lekker inskrywing Nikita!
Nou moet ek die cd gaan soek 😉
