Hi,
I am looking for an easy white bread recipe that is made with Anchor compact yeast, the block in the blue and silver paper. ??? It just tastes so much different than the dry yeast, like granny’s used to taste.

hi Thea, there are lots of recipe links on my blog, you might want to go on one of those links and have a look around, on one link you will find a PDF document with tons of recipes in too. There might be one with dry yeast, I can’t remember what recipes are in the PDF. Thank you for your visit and for stopping by. As I’m not a baker myself [anymore – was when at secondary school! – I can’t really tell if there are recipes on my blog, good luck!]
