31st May is the 151st day of the year and there are 214 days remaining…that is in the
Gregorian calendar. It’s also a non-tabacco day throughout the world. On Yahoo you can read about “Tougher controls including plain packaging, minimum pack sizes of 20 and a ban on the advertising of cigarette papers are all under consideration by the Department of Health (DoH)”…in the UK.

BUT, this day was also a very important day for South Africa! Click HERE for the Wikipedia article….and HERE to read about Republic day 31st May 1961…and on THIS LINK you will find more information concerning 31 May, e.g. different events, births and deaths of prominent people…etc. On 31 May 1910 the Union of South Africa was formed under British dominion…Independence Day…on THIS LINK you can read about world statesmen…and in particular about South Africa.
Today I would say “hallelujah” if we can live in a more harmonious world! Let’s get rid of…suffering of people….in all forms….selfishness, hate, racism, murder!…and try to prevent diseases…convince people of things that can harm their bodies…i.e. smoking! …and what about “polluting” your mind…! we can make an endless list once we’ve started! Let’s have peace! If you can make peace with your situation….the person you are…accept yourself! ….what you are…and stop blaming others for what happened in the past….then I’m sure you can live in peace with everybody else! …don’t let us ask continuously…”to what has the world come to….”
You can also download this music file from this site …
This piece of music…is one of my favourites!…oh, I’ve forgotten to say…that on my wedding day..this was my wedding ceremony music when I walked down the aisle on that important day!…I didn’t want the traditional wedding march from Wagner…maybe a few people said “hallelujah” on that day…hehehe…mum-in-law for her son finally got a wife! lol! and if you’re interested to know what my dress looked like…click HERE to see the dress! ….of course I didn’t wear the hat…I’m really not a hat-person! I gave one of my best friends the pic of the dress and she was so sweet to make it exactly like that! I do hope you enjoy the music!

If you’re interested in CHESS…hmmm..that’s me too….see this site and how Chess can be used for PEACE ….

Wow Diana het geskitter in daardie rok. Alhoewel sy kon enige iets aantrek dan het sy mooi gelyk. Ek was dol oor haar.
Die perd foto is ook vreeslik mooi.
Goeie inskrywing Nikita.

Wow, it’s only been a year? You write a lot, it seems like your blog has been here longer.
My blog birthday is coming up, I’ll have to write about it too.
As for using Chess for peace, my two sons are always attacking each other with light sabers, toy swords, and other weapons. Or they are just plain wrestling.
Sometimes they play chess, which is just as violent but quieter.
Hi Ray…yes, i can’t believe it’s been a year! I started it a bit with “sillyness”…not really very serious blogging…and then it turned out completely different than I thought it would be…I’m looking forward to reading your entry about your blog’s “birthday”… hmm…that “quiet” games…VERY violently…sometimes there’s some blood on my side of the board when your vicious Knights were in my “corner”…LOL!
