I’ve started to read this book…believe it or not…it was the last time reprinted in 1952! outdated hey…yes, but very interesting… written by Edmund Curtis… hard cover in dark green…no pic on the front cover to scan…looks quite boring …but think it’s going to be my reading whilst travelling on the Underground for the next couple of weeks…the contents page…chapter one starts from the origins to AD 800 and chapter 20 ends with…”From Parnell to the treaty…1891-1922″… a bit more than 400 pages!…wish me luck! lol…my last book with so many pages was “The Kin” with about 600+ pages…

Ek hou ook van die geskiedenis boeke oor lande….daar is altyd interesting goed in wat mense nie weet nie of vergeet het.
Ek vrek oor sulke ou geskiedenisboeke. Stuur aan, as jy klaar is!
hi julle…hierdie boek het beslis miljuisende feite in wat niemand van ons van weet nie… hy begin by die oorsprong van Ierland… ek glo nie ek het ooit met ‘n boek in my hand gesit wat gaan oor die oorsprong van Ierland nie…
en boer… as ek kan, stuur ek aan… 
dis ‘n ou afgeskryfde biblioteekboek wat ek opgeraap het! ek vrek natuurlik ook oor sulke ou boeke! enige iets wat oud is… en as ek nie ‘n ou ding kry nie, sal ek sover gaan en dit koop as dit net oud LYK! lol!
Hier by ons is ‘n tweedehandse boekwinkeltjie, ek het al juweel boeke daar ontdek… Lees is een van my gunsteling stokperdjies…
Hi Wipneus…jong, as ek so ‘n plek ontdek kry jy my moeilik daar weg…ek forseer myself om nie by ‘n boekwinkel in te loop wanneer ons winkels toe gaan nie, want op die ou end koop ek meer boeke as klere of kos! my man weet… as ons winkels toe gaan, is die boekwinkel die plek waar hy my los…en ure later weer kry….
